Mediating with authenticity

I have been mediating authentically and with passion for 23 years. In that time, I have come to understand that hearing someone and understanding their position or plight allows me to help take some of the weight off their difficulty. When we do this, we can then get creative and look toward problem-solving and finding constructive resolutions.

Why me?

Initially, with SACRO for 5 years as a Restorative Justice Practitioner with young people diverted from the Children’s panel and then in the adult service as team leader with SACRO Mediation and Reparation Service.

For the last 15 years, I have been mediating between young people and parents/carers in Cyrenians’ mediation and support service, working hard to prevent homelessness, rebuild relationships and create better outcomes for children, young people and families.

Having recently left Cyrenians’, I look forward to continuing my mediation practice through Scottish Mediation.
